Having fallen in love with journalism at the age of 12, I decided to study Mass Communication at Daystar University. When at the university I discovered my love for fashion through my Uncle Nur Jefwa who is an established fashion designer in Kenya and I also started making dresses for myself for events. Then it became an addiction and the addiction turned to Love for Fashion. Upon my graduation I decided to travel around and that is how I did my first journalism work at Laikipia west, Kenya With the company Arid lands information Network. Later I Joined Royal media services, a well Known media house in Kenya as an intern on air. After leaving the radio station I joined The Theatre Company to be trained as an actress and script writer, while with them we traveled to different parts of the country doing research forour plays, I did co – writer a script called “Shungwaya” which was on tour in the year 2012 and I also utilized my skills for fashion by making costumes for our plays. After a whole year of theatre, I got a job as a production manager for a television show for high school students called the Breaktime show. During my time at Breaktime, I traveled around to different parts of the country Kenya and made clothes for the female host of the show several times and that is when I realized that I needed to growand become bigger and better. Now am working my way to my dream step by step. My dream is to reach higher, be the best in my media job and designing. Am still growing and still looking forward to new opportunities and challenges coming ahead in my life.
