Kate Spade new york heads to Morocco this spring 2017 season as the brand draws inspiration from dusky desert landscapes, the pattern play of candle lit lanterns, the sensory overload of the souks and the oasis of calm in the Majorelle Gardens.
For 2017, the face of the brand is model and architecture aficionado, Fernanda Ly as the Kate Spade New York woman, photographed in various interesting, everyday ways, including Fernanda Ly walking down the street to pick up a quick coffee, all with a camel in tow.
In the hyper-real world of the spring campaign, she finds herself at the crossroads of two intersecting worlds in a way that speaks to the universality of the Kate Spade new york brand values and celebrates the human experience.
“We are excited to reveal Fernanda Ly as the face of our spring 2017 campaign, shot here in New York City,” shared Deborah Lloyd, President and Chief Creative Officer of Kate Spade New York. “This season is inspired by the extraordinary country of Morocco and we’re thrilled to have brought this to life in distinctively Kate Spade New York fashion, right here in our own backyard.”
The spring 2017 campaign features print images shot in NYC and video content for web and social media.
