Spotlight on Justin Timberlake, he’s come a long way since NSYNC

Here at Fashion One we can’t think about Justin Timberlake without thinking of the Mickey Mouse Club, NSYNC and bringing sexy back. Justin Randall Timberlake was born on January 31, 1981 in Memphis, Tennessee. During his 22 years in the industry so far, Justin has turned his hand to acting, record producing, dancing and songwriting to name a few of his many talents. Justin started his career starring alongside a young Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera in the All-New Mickey Mouse Club. In 1992, he then joined pop boyband NSYNC as their lead and youngest singer and achieved international success.

When NSYNC broke up, Justin went solo and launched his debut album, which cemented his reputation as a pop prince. Tracks like “Cry Me A River” established him as one of the most commercially successful singers of the decade. From 2007 to 2012, Timberlake put away his dancing shoes and focused on his acting career. One of Timberlake's most notable performances to date was in 2010 movie The Social Network, a drama about the creation of Facebook. He later went on to star in popular movies Friends with Benefits, Bad Teacher and In Time.

In 2007, Justin started dating fellow actress Jessica Biel before getting engaged in December, 2011. The couple wed on October 19, 2012 at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Italy in a lavish ceremony.

Timberlake then went on to release the best-selling record of 2013 in the US, entitled The 20/20 Experience. During his career, Timberlake has bagged himself nine Grammy Awards and four Emmys—and if that wasn’t enough, he is also a record producer and a fashion designer.
