From child star to international popstar – we’re talking Fergie on FashionOne
Fergie, born Stacy Ann Ferguson has a wealth of talents under her belt. Singer, songwriter, actress and designer she first burst onto our screens in 1989 on the TV show Kids Incorporated. As the longest running cast member she starred in 6 of the 9 seasons.
Following her early TV stardom Fergie, born on 27th March 1975 then went on to form a girl group called Wild Orchid and her music career began. As the 00s came to an end Fergie left the band due to some personal issues. By 2003 Fergie had joined Black Eyed Peas. Working alongside International superstar Will.I.Am, Black Eyed Peas went on to have a string of hits including “Shut Up”, “My Humps” and “Hey Mama”. The Grammy winners then went on to do a number of successful tours before Fergie went solo. Californian born Fergie’s debut solo album “The Duchess” was released in 2006 and achieved several number 1 hits including “Fergalicious” and “London Bridge”. It has also been confirmed that she is working on her second much-anticipated solo album.
