Ciara’s a Bride, Pudsey Makes a Movie and More

R&B songstress Ciara is preparing for her upcoming wedding, starring on the cover of Brides Magazine, and became teary-eyed as she talked about her fiancé and how they first met.

In London, Pudsey, the first canine to win Britain’s Got Talent, attended the premiere of his first film, appropriately titled Pudsey the Dog: The Movie. Comedian David Walliams, who voices the main character, shared his thoughts on the film: “It just falls into place you know. I’m not Daniel Day Lewis; I didn’t have to go and live as a dog for many years or anything like that.”

Monty Python fans were thrilled as an enormous sculpture of a dead parrot was unveiled in London to promote the upcoming reunion. The dead parrot sketch from Monty Python’s Flying Circus was voted as the fan favorite.

Athletes and entertainers showed up in their most glamorous outfits for the 2014 ESPY Awards, which celebrates sports related achievements. Attendees included Jordana Brewster, Dwayne Johnson, Taye Diggs, Erin Andrews, Danica Patrick, Amy Purdy and Chrissy Teigen. Among the sports stars who were lucky enough to take home awards were Kevin Durant, Floyd Mayweather Jr., Maria Sharapova and Michael Sam, with recording artist Drake playing host for the evening.

David Beckham attended the Nickelodeon Kids’ Sports Choice Awards 2014 with his sons Cruz and Romeo to accept his Legend award, and was drenched with gold slime.
