Teen Choice Awards 2014 The Celebrities Arrive
Held on August 10 2014 in Los Angeles, the annual Teen Choice Awards celebrates the hottest teen icons in television, music, film, sports, fashion, comedy and the web. Viewers aged 13 to 19 voted for their favorite stars, and the lucky winners took home the famous surfboard. Attendees dressed up to the nines for a night of fun and glamour.
Some of the presenters included Keegan Allen, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding from Pretty Little Liars, Nina Dobrev, Paul Wesley, and Ian Somerhalder from The Vampire Diaries, singers Ariana Grande and Jennifer Lopez, actors Colton Haynes and Josh Hutcherson, actress Megan Fox, and Kim Kardashian.
Performances of the night were given by Demi Lovato and Cher Lloyd, who sang "Really Don't Care," Magic! with their song "Rude," Rixton with "Wait on Me" and "Me and My Broken Heart," Becky G with "Shower," and Jason Derulo who went with "Wiggle" and "Talk Dirty."
Pretty Little Liars had a big night, winning Best Drama Show, and with Lucy Hale and Ian Harding taking home Best Actress and Best Actor respectively. There was also a lot of love for The Vampire Diaries, which won Best Fantasy/Sci-Fi Series and had Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev walking away with Best Actor and Best Actress.
The comedy category was a little more open, with The Big Bang Theory winning Best Comedy Show, Lea Michele winning Best Actress for Glee and Ross Lynch winning the Best Actor accolade for Austin & Ally.
Best Animated Show went to The Simpsons, while Keeping Up with the Kardashians won Best Reality Show, and The Voice won Best Reality Competition Show. Judges Adam Levine and Shakira also added to the success by winning Best Reality Personality: Male and Best Reality Personality: Female.
