Roberto Cavalli Fall 2012 Catalogue
Italian fashion house, Roberto Cavalli, has unveiled their latest catalogue for fall 2012 and enlisted the help of models Melissa Tammerijn and Samantha Gradoville. The duo was all smiles and high energy, dressed in lavish prints, layers of flowing ruffles, and tailored skirt- and pant- suits. The catalogue is a combination of several stories, each implementing unique silhouettes, fabrics, and embellishments. The first is filled with leopard and abstract zebra motifs; covering puff coats, leggings, and one-strap gowns. Fur trimmed lapels and mixes of ruffles with fringe instantly add glamour and sophistication. Black is the color of choice for the second story. Models were decked out in menswear inspired evening wear and classic “jacket and dress” combinations. Melissa and Samantha showcased a multitude of handbags, including snakeskin hobos, animal print satchels, or everyday purses decorated in zippers and studs. Final catalogue pieces turned up the heat, introducing vibrant patterns, fur, and beaded details. Colorful florals decorated kimono dresses and lingerie sets; decadent long black shearing covered collars and coats. Matching accessories included chic tiny clutches and dangling pendant necklaces.
