Who’s Wearing Who at the Grammy’s
Best and worst-dressed articles online became countless after the Grammy awards night. This won't be one of those, by the way. Though we're eagerly watching for unfortunate hairstyles, unflattering cuts or those very strange, strange cleavage, we'll stay on the safety net and will bring you instead the stars wearing their favorite designers.
Bad outfits are a no-no on Staples Center, sparkling sophistication was the trend at this year's Grammy. The Music's big night is also one of the fashion's biggest. And before we see who wins and who loses, let's check the red carpet. First on our list is Katy Perry.
Katy surprised us in sparkling powder blue Elie Saab gown. She managed to pull off this look with a blue hair and bright pink lips, which made the outfit really classy and pop-appropriate.
Carrie Underwood long-sleeved glittery gown hugged her curves in all the right places. This sparkling backless dress by Gomez-Garcia featured intricate sequins throughout the entire dress. Carrie matched the outfit perfectly with a diamond, tear-dropped earrings and a black sequined clutch.
The now blond bombshell hit the carpet in a custom Giorgio Armani gown. The songstress wanted a 'simple' and 'gangster' Grammy look and that's what she got which made all the jaws dropped in her plunging floor-length gown that made her one step to being naked. Just check out the back! The sexy front slit showed her sky-high Christian Louboutin shoes and matched the whole ensemble with gold clutch, gold arm band and gold cuff.
The country cutie Taylor Swift just beams in her nude high-neck gown by Zuhair Murad. The Grammy winner for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance was just stunning in this silk, fish-tail gown with sheer insets of gold. She matched the tasteful yet sexy outfit with a pulled-back bun and pink blush and lips.
Adele just sparkled up with her black Giorgio Armani gown, which is sequined from head to toe. Adele matched the outfit with a short wave curls and red lips which made the look vintage. Adele also wore a stunning 12.4-carat diamond ring and earrings by Harry Winston that perfected the look. Not to mention that she gathered six Grammy awards!
And while other stars played it safe, Nicki Minaj stepped out on the carpet with a bishop on her arm! Though it's kinda costumey for a red carpet event, Nicki, wearing an Atelier Versace ensemble still managed to pull off her outfit with a simple make up with winged eyeliner, no eye shadow and nude lips. No other accessories, just the pope and red riding hood!
